just get it doc...its the risk to the patients if you did not get it... your head would not be in right if u still keep on thinking about it... haha

ck318ci, nice rim. Just to check this is normal tyre right and not RFT? If that is so, no spare tyre how?

Normal tyre.

Didnt intend to drive out of Sg.
I will either get the mobility kit or just rely on my AA!

I wasn't so lucky within a couple of weeks, tyre puncture and has to change it. Hence, even wth the urge to change the rims, the thought of puncture kills it. Sigh

Can you relate your experience during the tyre puncture incidence so that we can have an idea about what to expect and do if it happens? I think most of the members here do not have experience with a punctured RFT before.

Not really...About the same when is on the 18. just road noise is up!!!

How about fuel consumption? I downsized from 20 to 19 and noticed significant gains...about 50kms more per refuel saved...

I havent done a full tank while on the 17 and 18 inch.. But this 20 inch. so far has covered 500km and trip comp says still has 190km to go.. I reckon can just do about 600km mixed driving :)

Was driving one morning and suddenly the alert came indicating tyre losing pressure andto drive not beyond 80kph to the nearest service centre. Just before that, i felt the car sway when i turn. When i checked, can see sharp metal protruding. All I can say is if u guys have tyre puncture due to nail then it is ok to drive near 80kph. For mine, it is a big sharp metal piece so even if i drove 50kph, it is dangerous as it was swaying left and right.

Was it beyond repair at all? How much is it to change the whole tyre?

Can a RFT with a nail be repaired?

I think Bro Xero is using the BBS CHR if I remember correctly

nice.. close to what i want... but i dont quite fancy the word motorsport on the wheel.. is it removable? what are the weight for the 19" BBS CHR shoes?

Saw a set in Matt Black CHR at my tyre place, is going for 3100 before discount/ nego. 19 inch..

bro, 3100 as in singapore dollars right???

Hey guys, yup, I'm on the 19" BBS CHRs. They weight about 11.5 KG which is pretty decent weight. After a couple months on them, they have been sturdy and reliable. I had WORK WHEELS 20" (10.5KG and soft) before this but I swapped them because I felt the car was underpowered with the 20s and lacked torque on the Juicebox.

As i had not experienced it before, i thought i might as well send it to service centre. When they extracted the metal piece, only then i saw how big the metal was. There and then i change the tyre as it was beyond repair. Well, cost me around RM2,200. My advice, send external tyre shop, cheaper. Just change 2 sets of tyre recently (Continental), so much cheaper at RM1400 per tyre.

My M sport Kit is ready.. painted and ready to be fitted.

Got myself a pair of plain number plate holder and got them painted to Sapphire black too.. Hope it will look nice....
