Hi guys,What would be the best suspension setup and also the cost involved?Any used hotbits coil overs on their e30? Appreciate the feedback please.

Not used hotbits before on E30 but am using it on my E39. Ride is firm without being too harsh.

No complaints except every now and then my springs seem to touch the absorber body. Nothing an adjustable mount and lower height setting can't solve.

For your ride may be others can give some ideas...
Mine E39 used std Boge front n rear combine with H&R Sport Spring...the ride improved not too hard or too soft...

Aku ada stereng lori....ko adaaa....

Bilstein B8 + H&R Racing (RED) has been one of the fav for E30's

agreed. or you could opt for the guesswork-free Bilstein B12 system.

im using bilstein shocks (the black one.., i dunno what model is it) and red HnR springs for my E30. no complaint. very stable when driving fast. good enough for daily driver like me ^_^

i also think that this would be best..... but unfortunately it will cost a bomb! :(

Just my 2cents.... After 2 years plus on bilstein b8s and eibach prokits...I've reverted back to the Boge sports with std springs on my 325i.. The bilstein/eibach combo was causing the car to crash into potholes at every nook and cranny...can't drive fast with them, car just skittles and hops around. With the Boges the suspension is more compliant and speed comes naturally. Then again...maybe I'm getting too old ;) this is my ride height now...not too sexy but rides better:

That is very subjective. You want the ride confort or the better handling\cornering? Either way there are plenty of options out there. I like the Bilstien and IE stage 3 combo for best of both worlds combination.
