Hi, i'm looking into buying some Eibach springs and perhaps Bilstein absorbers. The thing is that I don't want just some standard 'sport' suspension out of the box, I need the springs to be made to a custom spring rate and the absorbers to go with them. Here I pose two questions: Is there anywhere I can purchase these in KL? And how would I go about determining the ideal spring rate and absorbers for the car before installing them?I know that you have to drive the car around to fine-tune the suspension for what you want, but I do have a general idea of how I want my car to perform - and I just need some advice on how hard I should have the front and rear springs. I'm trying to tune this car to perform on our bad roads without hampering too much on the cornering. So would I be looking at harder springs but softer absorbers so that I can drive over lumps, holes, dead bodys and whatnot on the road without the car lifting off too much? I'm not sure if my thinking is right here, but when I saw some of the suspension tuning done to some drift cars in Japan (on video, i've never actually been to Japan), I noticed that one of the cars clipped the curbs very nicely without jumping too much but yet during cornering the car hardly rolled at all - so I came to the conclusion that his springs and rollbar system must be pretty stiff but his absorbers softer. Either that or it's an issue with weight? I think it was a Silvia S14, I do notice that the AE86s usually lift off after clipping the curb, but I do notice that some of the bigger cars do that too. Anyway, if my thinking is wrong I blame Mary Jane, and i'd really like someone to correct me if I am.Also, would stock E30 rollbars be enough? Or should I look into the M3 ones, or Eibach or whatever? What about Titan suspension systems? I heard they can build you anything you want, but i'm not too sure on the quality.
