Hello everyone,Thinking of getting a good second hand BMW 325i for a long time. Now there's one. 2001 model silver, milage around 90k , 1 owner. Price around RM85k . Any advice or comments? Should be seeing the car this wed/thurs.Cheers,Kenn

hi kenneth...i think there are a few good advice often given...is to bring along a good mechanic to help you diagnose the condition of the car and estimate any costs of repair. Another is to have a look at the service record (receipts)...this is what i could think of for the time being...cheers

p.s. these advices are plucked from the other members here...:listen:

Simple, just have in your pocket another rm10~15k for repair. You'll never regret driving Ultimate Driving Machine.

10-15K aside for 1 year, hows that sound ?

well if its basically a 1 time shot to replace wear & tear...then its prolly ok...10-15k a year to maintain is a bit too much, no?

i spend about 27 k already.... that shows how unlucky am i .... good luck to u all new buyers!

oh forgot to add 27 k in a year from last year september.

Wow!

Very cheap lio compare to F1 budget for a year.. :p :D Don't forget this is a performance car.

A friend's 2004 E46 328i first hand car been averagely spending RM8k a year including tyres, 17" MSport rim staggered (Dunlop Direzza, if not mistaken), all new original parts used. He travels quite heavily la.

If you're not comfortable financially, the amount of mulla you gotta spend would take the fun out of owning one. After all, life doesn't just revolve around this one so called UDM

Dun have 2004 E46 328i le. Last production year was 2000 for the M52TU E46 328i. But 8k a year sounds reasonable.
