Hi Guys, I just want to share this DIY since I had faced this issue again eventhough I had replaced the steering spindle bearing plastic.credit to : http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245961Below is the picture which I had replaced the spindle bearing.
This is common issue for E36, but the problem solving should start with below method:1. Bearing at bottom of steering spindle2. Bearing at top of steering spindle3. Steering wheel slip ringSince I had replaced the top steering bearing, so what I have to do is going to check the below bearing and lubricate it with WD-40 or any other lubrication, chain oil can use too.
.Im sure this can be applied to E36 325/328 too, but I dont have the picture to show.
Hope this info can help to save money for everyone. Goodluck.BR/
