My E46 steering vibrating while breaking at the speed of 90 onward. Thought is brake disc problems because is due for change already and replaced all the four with the new one but the problems still persist. Advise me what to do next.....

Check disc rotors.

R u sure u don't left the vibrator somewhere under the dash???:listen:

Bro, he doesn't need a vibrator under the dash! He IS the vibrator himself! LOL! Rich, check your rotors for uneven wear for starters - this is usually a common cause for brake judder!

VaN

Isaac,

I was referring to Hellraiser's post, not Hassnur's.

Thanks,
VaN.

Bro AAM, which bushing should I check? upper or lower arm bush?

bro,

both. my fren and i used to have the same problem too ......changed both......problem solved.

bro, could be your calipers are not working properly. they're not retracting after the brakes were pressed and released. check if you rims are abnormally hot after a drive. car also felt a bit underpowered (duh). had same issue while i was driving at 80-90 km/h along penchala link. after jack-up the car, found that the brake pads are still sticking to the disc. need to service the calipers, but unfortunately AB doesn't have in stock the 'brake repair kit'. So had to wait for 2 weeks to order...

p/s: anybody knows where to find this kit for e46 330?

Hellraiser, your problem resolved?

Just sent my car to workshop for change the lower arm bush only and later will update u on the outcome. Thanks bro for your advise

hassnur, just want to share. on another occasion , my E32 740iL - same issue...change lower arms only - still goncang, albeit lesser. later change upper arms also .....problem solved.

my rm2000 xperience.....

I solved this problem on my E34 only recently...when braking at speeds up to 100kmh, the steering had severe vibrations. Sent to mechanic, both lower arm bushings were worn, replaced both and things are fine. My RM480 experience...
