steering knocking sound

hi to all udm bro, facing this irritating "douk-douk" sound from the steering when driving thru those uneven paving road, replaced steering universal joint, sound still exist. any bros having the same problem. please advice.

I solved my klok klok sound after replace the D-bush which holding the anti roll bar. U can give it a try as not an expensive items.

Bro was it the same sound that you get when your front chassis twist?? For example, when going over a high ramp sideways (slowly), you can hear some sort of knocking from the front of the dashboard.

I can hear the sound when car went thru uneven road, no matter on sideways or hump/bump. The sound was came from undercarriage, like metal knocking "klok klok" sound.

Agree with the assessment but in my case it was the ARB linkage ... Once replaced no more sound :4:

You mentioned you have already replaced the steering U-Joint in your first post. Is the top U-Joint a different part altogether? Can you pls identify on realoem which part did you replace? Tq.

Initially replaced item No.4 but ended up have to replace item no.3 also, to solve the whole problems, the damage cost around rm1k inclusive of labour. it adviceable to replace this two items together at once.

Steering coupling swivel joint only cost rm350.00 brand new, i replaced two section of the
joints(top & bottom), if yours is the whole set than is very cheap what the warranty period?
