Spring & Shocks Combi

Halo Frenz,Need some advice. M getting shocks & springs for my '91 E30 4 pots. Some dude advice me to go for KONI & Eibach instead of Bilstein & Eibach. Reason, it's too hard for my 4 pots unless I'm on 6 pots or E36. Is that true?Btw, he quoted RM3.2k including installation. Is the price consider reasonable?Thanks in advance!

It depends on ur preference.

KONIs shud go with H & R (but no harm using Eibach).
BILSTEIN pair up with Eibach

My personal preference for E30 ..

Front : KONI Sport
Rear : Bilstein Merc HD

Spring : Eibach

Uu want harder at the rear, get GAB Gas for Pajero .. Hitting the roof is norm but damn shiok layan corner ..

And ohh , u change the rear mounting liking changing diapers ...

No pain .. no gain ..

Me, on Nov 2004, I changed items below:

Set of 4 Eibach spring RM1000
Damper for front absorber RM50 @ RM25/pc
Dust cover tube for front RM10 @ RM5/pc
Front Beilstein absorber RM400 @ RM200/pc
Rear Beilstein absorber RM310 @ RM155/pc
Workmanship RM180

TOTAL RM1950

and i'm happy with it. Comfort vs performance.

i got a pair of bilstein black for

previous s class W140
and
previous c class W202

wondering can it be fit or not... so far never try... no experience..
just to save up my cost rather than leave it there.... haha

It depends on the spring ... 30mm, 35mm n 40mm.. Maybe even 60mm.

Basically 1-2 finger between the front tires n fender ... U dun want to scarp ur oil sump, do u ...

Strider beli Bilstein Blacks that's why its RM200 per piece...the total price he paid is close to what I paid for mine - its the classic (in Malaysia) Bilstein Blacks + Eibach Prokits....

The sports would not be that cheap, in fact they should be in rm2000+ range shocks only for E30........if you can find anyone who has stock for E30 that is

Definitely it lowered but i don't know exactly how many mm. but roughly the gap between tyre and fender app. 2 fingers.

Koni Sport (adjustable) + Eibach Pro Kit

or

Bilsteins Sports (adjustable) + Eibach Pro Kit

or some other combination of e36 rears and Mercs shocks.............................

Bilstein SP (Fronts)@ RM500/pce x 2 pcs
Dust Covers @ RM45/pce x 2 pcs
Eibach Pro-kit @ RM880 per set.

Now looking for some m3 bushes and will be ready to send for installation.
