Slightly difficult to start 2009 e90 - Battery Issues?

When I push the start stop button, it takes a noticeable fraction of a second longer to start.In a few cases the mileage indicator goes ----/----km during the start up process. Thereafter it's fine and shows the mileage todate.This happened a few times in the last few days.If I change the battery is there any remapping of ECU and would my data be lost?Where is a reasonable place to buy and install a battery in PJ?Thanks
