Well... Am in a dilemma. On 1 hand, I have 1 version 10 year 2010 scooby sti (bought brand new, not recond) and 1 2008 mazda 6 2.5.

On another hand, am thinking of 'trading' I both cars for a 328i luxury or a 1 year old 328 m-sport.

I know by asking in bmw forum, the answers are more towards the Beemer! But I still want to ask....

How?

U shldn't, unless u've had enuf of the STI.

328i M Sport is a nice compromise car with a slight comfort bias. Only if u can be happy without >300hp.

Keep the STi, get the F30 320i or 320d M-sport :D
Thought has crossed my mind but I'll need to folk out mucho ringgit!

My initial thoughts are to keep both sti and m6 and trade in my wife's 1 year old jazz for a 320i or 320d but I need to collect more moolah so that my loan can be reduced to perhaps rm70k or so....

Which will perhaps take time... Maybe mid to end of next year!?!? By then, the lci would be out and that would be another temptation. Haha....

Love the sti but also love the 328 m sport (especially the blue colored one!) best is to have both but..... $$$!!!

Collect cash first bro, by the time u have enough money BMW would lave released the yummy LCI and that's to your advantage.

If your wife agrees to that why not bro, she gets to upgrade to driving a bimmer as well...hehe...another option would be getting a slightly used less than 1 year old 320i/320d instead (since u are also open for this option)..that should fall nice within your budget after trading in the jazz and as u may be aware a used bimmer price drops pretty drastically...

Ok... Had the chance to go ingress today. Manage to sat in a m sport 320d. Nice!!! Need to get use to the clatter sound. But, I notice that the leg room in driver's seat is a little narrow... Not much room on the left side. That's comparing with my scooby v10.

Now, itchy butt... No test drive unit available. Need to go else where to test drive the 320d.

Anyway, not in a rush to make my decision. I also want to consider the 520d! :)

BTW, who's looking for a 320d m sport, the price I got was rm240k + rm3k insurance on the road. That's with 5year bsri! But it's a pre reg unit.

Yeah mate, the BMW d is really addictive. Mated to that excellent 8 speed ZF gearbox, the delivery is instantaneous, addictive and highly intuitive.

There's also a fully kitted 320d M sports with full BMW performance kits and rims, spoilers and the works at quill PJ. They had two, the white was sold, only mineral grey left and that's a pre-owned unit with about 3k mileage. Listed price, I think was 250k nego.

Certainly get the 520d if it's a viable choice for you. The extra space and the better specs with the black panel digital display, adaptive dampers and LED are awesome but the steering wheel cheapens the ambience

Yep its RM250k, was there earlier today to had them check my parking sensors which went dead a day after Ingress replaced my xenon light housing =_=

If I may add, with the M performance kit, the car height is quite low...confirm cannot drive around where I live with huge speed bumps but looks damn smexy...

Just came back from AB's weekend promotion at BUKIT JALIL. The SA prices sure cheapest of all but I don't think so. Was offered 328i M sport with 1k mileage at rm270k! Not so attractive as ingress as they offered lower!

Anyway, test drove the 328i m sport as well as the 320d m sport. Can really feel the difference in performance between the 2 vehicles. The 328i had good ummmph whereas the 320d had respectable power but not adequate for my taste.

To my surprise the 328i's power feel is comparative with my scooby!! So, maybe thinking of changing it with my scooby... Haha...
