i just share some idea and fact for the benefit of everybody...,

JOKER, the forum is all about sharing of info.. However, we should not take everything that is shared by anyone or from any source without giving it any thought. There's a flaw in the theory you shared, so I pointed it out for discussion..

Yea, not only torque but 1/4 mile runs as well will improve with a higher ratio differential. Bad news is the top speed will be lower with a higher ratio differential. Also for cars with lots of torque, too high a differential ratio might actually not leverage the torque advantage of the car properly.

although true that the top speed will be reduced in most scenarios, i was wondering if there are chances in some cases whereby top speed can be increased with a lower ratio differential. say a car with 6-speed and in stock form it will achieve its top speed of 250 at max rpm - peak HP (eg 7000rpm) on 5th gear. upon superchargin, it does 260 but at 6th gear 5000rpm but nowhere near its peak HP at 7000rpm. in this case, wouldn't increasing the diff ratio increase the rpm at 260 to say about 6000rpm where HP is higher therefore possible to push even higher top speed? just wonderin...
 
I would guess - you don't enough power to couter the air drag (so you can go faster)
Aerodynamic friction or drag is proportional to the square of the speed.
air drag is 4 times more at 200km/h, compare at 100km/h.

So, you ask: can top speed increase with a lower ratio differential ? possible
But what RPM is the max power output ?
Is time to break the myth. I have camera tripod, with suction cup that stick to windows, that I can borrow you :D

he he he he... lower your CAR by install adjustable suspension..., make sure speed limit was removed...,or go to get the SHARK injector (portable direct flash programming)....

RPM to max power was completely different with different program..., you need good program..

THE DME was COMPUTER AI, better don't do it... don't risk your life..., you were rich-rich people, it was not worth if anything had happend ......!!!

YOU BETTER compare the Russian YAK-9U with the uas! BF-109 !!!!!

YAK-9U vs BF-109G (wooden TAIL)
2512KG with 1500bhp engine VS 2247KG with 1455bhp engine
maximum SPEED:672KM/H @ ?km VS 640KM/H @ 6.3KM altitude (very low speed @ sea level)


45bhp different... and 250+/- KG different !!!!

there had alot of CON-con engineer and scientist.... WATCH-OUT....EVEN doctor/police/anything...
 
WITH ALL these explanation..., you all will understand why the BMW can win againt SUPERBIKE!!!!!!!!

actually many other car also can win againt superBIKE.., just depend on DESIGN..

do you all know why the TOFU 's car in the initial D switch off the head light during follow tight and overtake the front CAR???; the front car with head light on will lose plenty power to the head light, while the second car with light OFF gain very plenty of horse power to overTAKE...., it was not only for phycological attack...

soo install the HID will reduce power consumption,
increase plenty power, save plenty fuel...

he he he he soo just CUT unuse power supply during... :driver: :burnout:
 
i found the wiring in the BMW had a little CON.., some of the wire cycle several time just to increase the wire length..., i suggest to cut it and make a shorter route for the connection... this will free-up some plenty horse-POWER,,,,, am i right ???

a complete nightmare when you open it ALL... and look for yourself...

a bawah pokok mekanik once mentioned to me that the BMW wiring is length sensitive. each wire has its resistance value to work in harmony with the ECU...

How true?? I don't know... Why don't you try shorten the wire harness on your car and see if there's any niggling problems???

OH my GOddnesss, there was DIGITAL, i repeat DIGITAL system, not ANALOG-ANALOG-analogiiiiiii....,except some of the sensor was analoggggsss, rest was DIGITALize......

DIGITAL GOT NO effect to what resistance.... it read 1 or 0, and in form of digital frequency
(similiar like analog wave, but square type of wave) :banghead: :107:

JUST don't touch the DME/EGS sensor.. (but most of the sensor was DIGITALIZE)

do you understand what is SEMI-CONDUCTOR ?????

this look like really got soo many con-CON con con SCIENTIST or ENGINEER out there...,
EVEN DOCTOR???.....or anything....

no wonder why the NUCLEAR brand was preducing CON car....(TIN CAN car)

you just put an empty tin can; other with a filled-up tin can and put together for strong wind BLOWING...

i think they try to con your BMW to be ninja turtle :slug: :turtle:, and suck lot more fuel.....
