Sealant/Silicone to rebuilt exterior lamps

I use the normal silicon which we can get in hardware shop when I opened my headlight last few years. It is easy to use. Important thing is u can reopen the lens easily in case u want to do again. I did the same to my dad' Nissan rear light.

Alrighty, normal sealant thats used for home windows/porcelain sinks?

In your case, u better use the clear type.
 
Was out hunting for these.. only saw white or black.. oh well.. need to search harder.

Generally normal silicon is the best thing for this purpose. I guess bmw7833 has stated it correct. Another thing is that its multi purpose and can be used for things also. This will work out definitely.
 
Only found huge ones.. feels such a waste buying it & only using a tiny bit..
