Retrofit Navigation for pre-facelift E60's.

Here are some pictures:

1) Reverse Camera
2) DVD Player
3) Garmin Gvn53
4) Map on Garmin
5) Song List using USB (similar list shown with MP3 disc and CD)
6) Kenwood DVD Player in the dashboard (with remote control)

Notice that all are in full screen??? Remote control is crucial, as you need to control playlist, change channel, play pause stop forward rewind... ALL USING THE REMOTE!!!
Garmin is very user friendly... I get used to it in no time
The only setback is that you need to go deep in order to change the CD/MP3/DVD... so I'd insert one before starting journey.. and then plug my USB in for songs... lol!!!

You see... the interface that they install is at the AuxIn... you will have to access Garmin, DVD/USB from the AuxIn... they will install additional button somewhere near your steering... in AuxIn, push once to access Garmin... push one more time you will go to DVD or playlist...

Reverse camera... just pull your gear to Reverse and the screen will pop up la...

bro thule, after you change the ccc conversion u got bluetooth or not? can direct use ur hp using the bluethooth function wit ur e60? im eager to know fact about tis

FYI... no bluetooth la... I didn't really do the whole CCC conversion.
My CD changer is not working so can't install Dension as I planned to... so have to take risk upgrading the software by doing Progman fr initial v25 to latest version 30 in order for the "Aux In" to pop up in the iDrive.
Then I install Interface plus the Garmin, Reverse Camera and DVD Player...
Original BMW Bluetooth module is freaking expensive to be installed... that's why I use normal Bluetooth headset (iTech) which cost me about RM100 even though using the BMW bluetooth is ultra cool :top:

lol tat is wat in my mind set n also only the reason y i wan to have the bluetooth in my e60 instead of headset...if is headset then no cool liao la. use car bluetooth ma so tat the passengers can share the conversation together, haha

i think only uk spec got bluetooth. japan spec...dont think they have it. i did test drive uk spec b4 deciding on japan. uk spec got bluetooth but no elec chair mem. tat y i give up uk n go on japan. now...have to folk up more $$$ to have all tis function enable. seriously,when we procure tis udm, we r talking about big chunk investment on tis freaking beast. anything we wan it extra in our car...tats gotta cost a bomb....hai...if onli i own bmw kedai, haha

mine didn't come with one... but bluetooth is not my main priority in buying an E60

navigation. just for me to navigate road since im poor in memorizing road. i onli wan opts for navigation n bluetooth. waseh bro thule...don cuci me lidat la.i not rich like u so cant modify too much since got TIGHT budget le. i can feel tat i kena cuci sial, haha

cl...since ur car comes with the japs navigation so just get the CCC changed lo...for me i got to install alot of preperation before i can install the CCC and 8.8" screen...lagi mahal...

have u check how much is the gigibiru retrofit?

LOL okok.i did check wit my mechanic,he told me once i change my ccc to msia spec then bluetooth will be included le. tis...i don no how truth is his statement so far. can any1 verify for me? lol
