Have your pics loaded on a host site. I use http://e21.tricord.be to host my photos. Then, i link them to this site

using the img commands on the top control panel.

you get about 5mb of space on tricords site. Try to keep your picture at about 800x600 pixels and image size of about 80K

Looks like the young Paduwan is being led astray. Now considering an e23 735i. See the 7 series section.

Guys after thorough checks noticed the following parts need to be replaced

1. Steering Rack, tie rod, tie rod end and ball joints.
This should be a complete set from the rack, rod and ball joint inclusive the steering cover, valve seal and bushes for both sides.

2. Engine Mountings left and right.

3. Top Engine and sum gasket

4. Front absorber struts bushes

5. Anti roll bar bush

6. Lower arm.

The above are priorities parts that need to be sourced

Other parts are as follows:-

1. Fan and acond belt
2. Petrol hoses (for engine bay)
3. Brake pads (front)
4. BBS 13" basket weaves hub caps

Can any of you advised on the prices locally and in SG, the parts is for e21 320/6 1981 power steering assisted.

Savings look nominal to me. U might want to check locally. Personally, I feel it is not worth the hassle of going to Singapore, haggling with the customs, paying toll, etc. That is unless u have some jalan to bypass all the hassles.

if i change the shocks,do i need to change the spring?

First Division, CSS or Bomin shld be able to help u out.

Personal preference for Bilstein Sports. Seem to be very well made and can last a long time.

Springs shld still be OK to use, unless u intend to lower. Lowering makes it look aggressive, but u will have problems with poorly designed humps around my area.

My guess is that the gap between the fender and tyres at the front is at least 4 fingers wide.

Springs can be easily be obtained from Speedworks - Hotbits aka Intrax. About RM1,100

Harder to get - H&R from Speedzone - price incl airfreight -RM2000+. If u decide to go for H&R, make sure that they get it sent with their regular consignment - then, price should be around RM1200.

DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT cut your springs!!!!
