Hi all,I went to a mechanic today and have my four suspension checked and to my surprise, he said my e30, which i just bought about a week, is still running on original absorbers and unchanged and 'still' running well. The reason why the rear feels soft is because of soft coil spring. What do you all think? He suggest that i change the coil and leave the absorbers. Not quite convince but really the absorbers still looks okay, no oil leak and so. Another thing, is it okay to fit in M3's lower arm bush into my e30 m40? Would it be wise? Should i stick to original m40's bush? Thanks all.RegardsJacky

 When did u get your car? Oh... senyap2 only ah? Anyways... what year is your car?

Maybe he meant original as in it was changed to an original absorber rather than an aftermarket one. Double check on this.

Not really a pro, but i think the M3 bush would be more durable and last longer. Any comments from other sifus?

i got one set of e30 sport spring....

m3 bushing ?? can of coz...

maybe u can try fabian's eye ball arm lower arm holder.... it increase ur caster & stiffer when cornering...... see the eye ball arm thread for the pros...

if u wanna use m3 bushing... use ORGINAL m3 bushing.... else u will facing squeking noise when go over bump.....

hope this help....

the e30 M3 control arm bushing would make wonders to the ride feel..a very good upgrade!

the m3 offset got 2 type. One is the original whereby it gives a n'tive camber offset and i think increase castor a little.

where else the "other" m3 is just solid round surface and it's harder.

Else, the original is standard. If your ride is standard and intention is to keep it that way, just stick to standard.

But i have being using the "other" m3 offset so far and it's ok.
