Yup...:) According to him, his car in driving condition. No leaking or auto trans problem. But the business CD player spoil. Paint condition so so and need to repaint. New tyres and the rest is just normal condition. All still original and accident free...Was planning to fork out few ks to fix it up if the price is right.....

Which year?

To be honest, most AP cars have their odometer adjusted. Many times dealers are just not honest and if we think logically, how can it be that most AP imported cars only have 30KM-50KM on the odo even if it's 4-6 years old? I don't think there are so many BMW owners buying their car and only do 1000KM a month :) However the good news is, engines are very reliable so even it's 100,000KM, it will still last us for a while.

I agreed on this matter and it seems too good to be true. Have a look at the E60 today and it seems not bad. Definitely accident free but need to repaint. Business CD is gone. Absorber need to change and front light kinda blur. Mileage is bout 135k. No major leaking on engine and GB shift smoothly with very slight jerk. Nego and last price is 130k. Will check with my finance minister.....:)

Anyone can recommend a good place for repainting???

Thanks in advance

Actually I just book an LCI '07 and the mileage is quite high too. Fortunately the dealer is honest and told me what's the actual number :) I enquired around and it seems that professional BMW paint job is around the RM3500-4500 range.

Called my friend and he said to paint a BM will cost at least 4k...:(.. However, have a chat with my HM and she seems like not really like the idea of getting a cheaper car direct from seller and fix it bcos it will take too much time...:( Might be looking at car dealers for a better deal...

I think if you want a car that has less wear and tear problems, perhaps you can consider newer ones like year 06/07 and above? :) 525i M-sports Jap spec can get around RM220-225K these days (non-LCI model).

Don't like cheaper price and get from dealer..woww..obviously this is a lady' view.

I think u can get a good paint for RM2500-RM3000. 130K is a good price for me, throw in 30K to replace all necessary items and the car is better than what u get from dealer anytime.

Yup..30k is enough to fix it up well. We will see how it goes over the weekend. If it does not go though, will just help my friend to post it in WTS thread...:(

i just going service my E60 530i at kepong there , just change enjin & tranmission oil c/w reset computer , from the cpu can checking milage matching odometer , car chasis no and country of producing .

Bro Aoch88,

Care to share how much u paid for your 5's bimmer? and the place you took to do the paint job (if u have done that)?. I'm considering to give my car a new coat.

Guys, Totally agreeable on 530i's performance. So far so good for me. Mine is a '07 model.
