Rear Light malfunction signal displayed at meter but light was ok

guys..few days ago..rear light failure warning appear at my meter panel..but the rear light was ok..what should i do with this?

Are u confirm u check all the bulbs condition include the reverse and fog light?

Check the brake light including the 3rd brake light at rear screen. Mine came out the light and I though due to my reverse camera light issue. After plug in the diagnostic scanner, it says my 3rd brake light. Asked my son to brake then only I know 3rd brake light need replacement. After change it, no more TENG...with light on the dash....haiya ! What a relief.

Ha ha, that's the most dreaded melody especially when it rears its ugly sound when you most enjoy your ride with a smile on your cheek or when you have passengers in your car

Try these steps,
1. Remove the bulbs and put them back again
2. If not, change the bulbs even though they appreared OK as sometimes it was due to the weak filaments
