Unless you're that rich..
Modifying and buying the bar is already going to jack up your bill...
Why not just get a E30 Roll bar that already have engineered specific for an E30...

IE bars are hollow in the middle so the tensile strength would be different from a normal solid bar.. IE swaybars are nice especially if you get the whole set of the pillowball end links..
