The Ireland Engineering ones are marvelous. Let's just say it raises ur driving confidence a few notches higher esecially at the at corners.

not cheap IE arb, about rm 2000 brand new for front and back 25mm/22mm. but its worth it. rode in fabians cars and it handles good.

I believe a good ARB is an ideal compromise to a stiff spring set up........u get comfort on straights and when cornering...the ARB help to settle the softer springs.

Of course, if u dun mind a stiff spring/shock combo from day 1, then the ARB assistance is less........

That's my theory anyway.

That's still a good deal I guess, since the last time I've asked about the Eibach ARB set it's RM2,200.. can't afford but itchy ...can't afford.. but itchy errkkhh! :beaten:

Fabian,
How do u get the IE ARB? And any modification done on the mounting...read some comments that IE ARB will give pblm with the mounting bracket due to it's strength ..thks.

I used the billet aluminum brackets for the rear. it's a lot stronger. no problem wat so ever. Need to drill 2 holes though for the brackets. and u need to weld the metal pieces which came in the package to the mounting plates on the rear arms to strenghten it.

speaking of mounting brackets, i lost mine for my ARB dunno where there are.....can get replacement? the thing that connects the dog bone to the rear arms? how much?

Finally in? so wat cars u overtook at the corners???

Abt the ARB's, there's lots of talk abt IE's but someone also mentioned another Aussie brand, not sure if its 'white-something'. Can anyone remember?

whitelines dude ...... hot in oz land, pretty good standing with scooby crowd too I believe ...... by the way they have for E30 but lets not all rush out and get one coz its about RM1700(!!) retail .....

AUS$ price is much cheaper though if someone is willing to bring it back personally....

EDIT
But believe me when I say - get ARBs if you dont have them - MTechs are fine for most purposes and it willgive you the most bang for the buck in terms of handling improvement. Further improvements (1) PU ARB bushes, (2) rear strut brace - these would work even with standard suspensions (my guess) and will be even better when you uprate it with e.g. Eibach pro-kit springs + Bilstein yellows/blacks. Result? You will SEEK OUT long sweepers for the hell of it.... sheer pleasure!

Thanx whiteline. Yup saw on the whiteline website 24mm fronts and 16mm rears arb going for abt Aust$450 ~ RM1250. That price is abit more reasonable than the I.E's but i suppose the I.E's comes with all the bushes and fittings. Am i right?

Anyhow, does anyone know how much the eibach arb's are....
