raptorsc...may i know what piggyback is installed for the s/c kits?

opp....just go for it. s/c is a lot of fun, but be prepared for the headachces that come wiit it. from leaking oil everywhere, to blown belts, to s/c failure etc. but if nothign goes wrong, the fun factor is there

No la. A distributor for this kit from australia. Appoint few panel workshop to install this kit for those race fanatic bimmers.

What I think should not happen to BMWCM is people joining the club to solicit business.

If you are the sales person for this kit, just admit it, as long as you don't come here to look for business, I am sure everyone is cool about it.

Oh ! sorry for not answering ur question yet cause too many posting all out of sudden.

My name and contact was post in the local mag is to prevent any havoc incident happen when installing the kit from the panel installer. My job is to answer and explain all the end user enquiries and question. Then point them to the nearest workshop to view. The Australian doesn't want a bad name was create for his product since it just launch few month ago. So its still fresh in the market. My car was the R&D white mouse for the product.

Don mind telling u my true incident of installing this kit.

B4 this distributionship drop into my hand, i was a ordinary working class bimmerster tat intended to mod my car. So there is a friend introduce me to a workshop at Seri kembangan ( 1 of the member do mention about this ). The boss at the age of 27, answer all my question experiencely and a demo car E36 325. WOW ! 1st timer sure impress wif the power la. So leave down my car to him to install sc.

After 8 days, i go pick up my car and make payment to the boss for completing the job. Then i realise tat there is no improvement in bhp to my car facing idle problem, black smoke kau kau like sotong. Very unhappy and question the boss. He seems like simply giving me a reason then want me to wait for 2 weeks to let the software tat he installed to run in.

After 2 weeks, Problem still persist and even worse. More fault code exist and broke down at middle of road somemore. Straight away tow back to tat workshop and give him 3 days as he agreed to settle the problem.

3 days pass, i went to the workshop to check my car. My car problem still the same. The boss trying to push away the responsibity by saying tat my car sound system affect his charger unit, somebody had altered the charger unit and etc.
So had a big fight wif him. The boss also " macam nak layan tak mau layan" like this. Dam piss off. So send to other workshop to rectify the problem. Our panel workshop right now. All problem solve in 1 week.

Tat's my unforgetable SC BMW. ( Forgive me for the lousy english written )

SO u may conclude me as a raptor advisor in malaysia le. No sales man la.

Didnt mean to get you in trouble . If you are the adviser, salesperson. marketing person or the foreman for the company, any advise you give is fine. Dont think you tried to push your SC in any way.

You got any dyno charts you can share with us for your car before and after?

From the problems you say you faced, how certain are you I wont face the same issues when I install the SC?

Dont want my radio to go kaput man. Driving in KL without a radio sure mati one!!

Opp, just to advice you as a fellow member, I suggest you do a bid of read up from this forum to understand the headaches and also the orgasmic feeling of Supercharging. Some did it very easily, some not, some gave up and sold their SCs and etc....

If you are planning to SC your car, do prepare for this. Once you are ready, then enjoy the journey to adding extra ommphhh to your car....

but remember though....you aint gonna out-run those JDMs...hee hee.....

Thanks for the advise. i dont plan to out-run those JDM's. If I did, I wouldnt have bought this tank. Just that those days to get those 50 bhp from my car was so easy. For this tank, wah so much more to pay and not to much info and choices.

JDM cars got places like GT Auto, N-One, Ah Beng , ah seng , ah too and ah kau plus ah kandasamy. For BMW, alot less options thats all.

Is there any easy payment scheme available?

Lets say over 12 months interest free? If yes , I think a lot of ppl would be interested. Please check with your company or whatever connections you have with them.

have tested nicmund's car (e46 328i auto SC 5spd) against my stock e60 530i (M54B30) 6spd and his car is slightly faster and i guess would be much faster if it was manual. (remember me nicmund?)

anyway it was not convincing enough therefore i am planning to go for a SC kit from ESStuning it runs at 6psi with 300HP/385NM (sounds impressive). total cost should be around RM30k but i am still figuring out how to bring it in with minimal taxes & also not sure where to install (any advice?). more expensive than raptor SC but hopefully better results. i guess you get what you pay for. will keep you guys updated.

Hey bro ! long time didnt hear from u !how's everything. hey bro ! at tat time my car was runing at 0.4 boost wif 230whp and a 2.0 axel + 2.0 transmission Ecu.
The engine & transmission doesn't match at all so it might affect the performance as well. Now different lo, 3.0 transmission, 3.0 axel + 3.0 Ecu boost 0.7 bar. Came up to 270 whp and torque of 367NM. Then tat stupid transmission canot take it.
Haizzzzz....... really need to change manual transmission d. pui...pui...lousy auto.

Wah 30k ESS SC. Great product but dyno 1st then look at the result see it is the same as wat they mention. cause sometimes need to consider a few factors. mainly is the weather of tat country. They R&D their product base on their own country environment. If weather cold sure fast la.....

YA ! the installer had a MBF credit card machine tat offer a installment plan for up to 24 month ( Depend on bank approval ). But onli MBF card holder la.

Actually checking the engine 'healthy' or not also play a important role b4 installing the SC. The situation might be worse if there is oil leaking.

ALready past so many month i still very angry of the seri kembangan guy. Think of his face also dam 'tu lan' d. Some other bimmers uncle did their normal service at his place also facing the same problem. uninresponsible attitude and always show his big boss face once he had collected the money.

So pls don be cheated by his surface and the workshop. He talk dam good 1 but action takda. I had went to many BMW workshop b4 and his workshop is the cleanest 1. not even a fingerprint at the wall. Cause no car to do ma. hahahahaha..........
