Radio Display Went off

Hi guys,Hv you experienced this problem? Today my e39 radio display just went off, though the radio functions...Any idea? Could it be weak battery or LED light etc???

Hi... Actually, I experienced this problem before. Later, was told by my mechanic that is due to week battery.

I've got the E46 with the display and mine went off once for no reason. After that its ok since then....nvr did anything...wierd..
