Like the rest said ... get a new one. RM530 (for 318) is BEHR ... it's OEM BMW. Ori would cost you RM1000+. I had mine changed twice already (1 1/2 year apart). It's my own fault. Plus labor and coolant, it's shouldn't be more than RM650.
The first time I change was just bcoz of a brittle hose mouth (plastic mouth on the right side of the radiator). I change a new radiator after advice from mechanic, kevster and a close friend. The top hose can still hold up to the radiator but the risk that it will just pull away from the radiator if it were to overheat would just be too much for the engine. In the end, kena repair engine. Mana you mau? RM200 or RM5000+?
Another piece of advice. Never2 just use water only. Thats what I did the first time I change ... later sprung a leak (3 place).
btw, what rims are you on?

well lets just say it this way,we all knw tht the malaysian water isnt exactly 'clean' frm chemicals,chlorine etc and if we use tht dont u think tht our radiator will eventually boil dry with all the harmfull sediments?
the most valid answer would be tht using radiator coolant is better coz it has been specifically made to withstand extreme boiling points and thus wont evaporate as fast as using just water.
just my understanding.
