Just a quick question, do all our local E30 M40 318i cars (which are CKD I believe) come without an O2 sensor and cat converter?I noticed my car doesnt have O2 sensor, (there is a plug for it under the battery tray, but it is capped off and I definitely don't see any O2 sensor plugged into my exhaust manifold) and also, my center section unit looks more like a cylindrical muffler rather than the funnily shaped cat converter. This is based on realoem drawings though.Just want to confirm that it's correct, then I won't bother changing that center section on my exhaust. I used to think that if it's a cat, then it might be clogged by now after almost 20 yrs, but if it's actually just a muffler, then no difference changing it to a typical resonator/bullet I think.

making things blow? wow... that's a new thing... so everything just explode...?
