pulley and ecu remap

i'm interested to change my underdrive pulley, but i read across the forum about changing pulley will disturb engine harmony. how true is that? how about ruff pulley, good?then, if i done changing my pulley, i would like to do a re-map. but still figuring out, what if my batt kong, or send to AB, can they change my re-mapped ecu to stock?so, after doing all this, what is the expected hp from my e46 328?
