Problem for start the engine

I have problem start my car ( E90 320SE )... after drop my car key, it will have problem to start, i have to try few times or knock my car key then able to start... Anyone face this problem...

After shake or knock my car key, able to start and became normal back... So, how to claim...

I think the immolizer transducer is slight misalign when you dropped your key. Try to open it up and realign it. It look like a small round cylindrical tube about 3mm size.

Oh, yeah! The leather case, my ex-E36 key comes with it. Why E90 don't have?

AB sells them. Its an original BMW part. Made in China tho LOL. Its only RM50, and works well.... Thumbs up for the Chinese cows!

any picture of the e90 key holder looks like? rm50 is good deal. can get it from any AB branch? wat about sapura? must order or they have ready stocks? cheers

I saw the E60's one, similar to those of '92 E36 key holder. Its a piece of leather fold in half with a plastic button to pin it to the key.

It should look like this:

Seriously, I don't feel like paying for this. There's no technology or refine material to show off and its certainly should not cost more than RM50.

I can just get a piece of leather and do the same wrap. Just that I have to think real hard where to find the plastic "button"..
