Preventive Maintenance for E60

I was quite keen to send in my car to our friend in Segambut for preventive maintenance but was told that for the E60 the Car system will highlight whether there is such need .Is this true ?

Depends on what you mean by preventive maintainance.
The car does warn when something is wrong.
For routines stuff like oil, filter, brake pads etc etc, you can check it out in the idrive. You can still stick the traditional 10000km or whatever service routines or use the content base, which means change only when the car tells you to.

how old your car and what's your mileage now?. you are encouraged to service your UDM once every 25,000km or 1 year whichever comes earlier...but would advise you to servive every 15,000km la..
