Power window failure..

Guys...I'm about to leave for KL tonight, and all of the sudden the rear power window kaput!!! turun boleh naik tak boleh......arrghhh hujan pulak tu!!:motz::motz::motz:Any tips? Still have to go to KL tonight....please!

The best thing is to pull it up manually.. U gotta go n find a mechanic as one of the mechanism has broken down ..

Am in KL now...does anyone know which potong kereta open today..today is sunday of course, one of our forummer do open his workshop today but no part available..guys please help, need the power window motor very badly, otherwise have to drive back home without fix it...

if u can lower but cant raise it back, means the motor is funcn. most common fault is the plastic slider broken and the whole assembly move out from the rail. its very easy & cheap fix but u need to open the door panel to access it. btw good luck trying to pull the glass up with ur hand without opening the door panel.

talking about the window few days ago i suddenly found that my driver side window got one-touch up and down function

Guys I need help too on my driver side pwindow, it is not functioning now, my car is e36 coupe, was advised my pwindow motor is square type with 2 connections sockets, any leads can get and price please?

Hi.. my first post in this forum. Interesting reading all the posts. Looks like there is a lot for me to learn here.

I just got my E34 525i. Yesterday when I was trying to raise up my power window (driver side). the window glass move up slowly and then I heard some cracked in the door. The glass then tilted sideways and jammed. I finally managed to manually re-align the glass and manually move it up. then I push the window up button to lock it in place. Don't dare to move the window after that. Does it sound like the bracket is broken?

Is the any workshop in PJ, Puchong, Subang Jaya area that can fix this problem? WP Auto still available? Thank you for your help.

Hi Vsegar...welcome to the forum bro..congratulation on your 'new' ride...erm sound like your power window's roller has broken..the roller that moving the glass up & down..you cannot buy just the roller, its a complete arm..if yours is a 24v system( 95-96) part is still available at the chop shop, but if yours is 12v system its a nightmare! its not interchange unless your change the whole door!..
FYI, 12v is popularly known as enjin ketam year 89-90 M20 engine, 24v non vanos 90-94 M50 engine and 24v single vanos M50 engine...(not talking about v8 here)

Where are you located?..WP Auto is my long time mechanic..he is in Pandan Indah behind Ampang new Hospital..and I have Uncle Wong in Subang Jaya, and he drove an E34 too...
