save your money and buy it cash.u can go for e36 coupe or e46 facelift.try not to loan bro:rock:

Ya. Agree with rezzsya.. Buy experienced models so you understand the needs and how to tatang bagai minyak yang penuh.. E36, or e46 and if possible get 325, or 328 depending on your interest and need for speed.. Roadtax once a year and set aside tabung for it. Then another tabung for service, preventive and breakdown (touch wood).. If willing and kaki kanan banyak berat try find e46 330i or ci.. Once you know the kerenah, and bosan oredi, by the time e90 or e92 sudah lagi murah in terms of price and maintenance.. Then you get the e92 335... Hahahaa... Racun skit.. But whatever car you decide, plan for service and pm first before you gatal nak mods.. But if you have the money, then go all out by all means.. Haha..

hope the price for e92 335i wont drop so much in the next few years...hehe.....and the n54 TT is gonna be one rare breed tho by then

Servicing is not really expensive. But certain parts replacement can be.
Browse thru the E90 parts & maintenance thread to see all the bills.
E90 is not known for any major problems but items like ABS pump had been faulty, but I got it replaced by BMW on goodwill .
My 207 325 AC compressor got jammed few months ago and split the belt - major labour on that. 2k+
Rear window regulator snapped on both doors - a couple of hundred each DIY.
Suspension are quite reasonable - nothing expensive like 7series
Original batteries cost RM1k+, replaced but did not last long for unknown reason, now using delko which seems OK, only RM500+

Its not that expensive in the way that it does not cause so much trouble. But be prepared. These cars are RM250k and above when new. I'm sure something expensive lurking somewhere.

But as some has suggested, getting cheaper previous model will give some ideas on bmw owning experience.
BMW is not cheap to run. you must know the car and you must know when to service or repair or replace, and you must know when something is not quite right . If not, it will be very expensive.
