Passed by a pet shop today and got the following pricing for the dog food:

Top Ration 18.14 kg at RM 90.00
Smart Heart 20 kg at RM 95.00
SPW Japanese 20 kg at RM 95.00

Can further negotiate if it is more than 5 bags.

This is for "pariah" dogs (aka mixed mongrels) ;p

I dont think the abandon animal at PAWS shelter are pedigree breed. I think they are the more hungry and neglect type.

Dont worry about the brand.. as long got nutrient, I dont think they mind.

My wife says she got the dog food for RM95 for 40 lbs (18Kg) - Brand =SportMix from USA.

It was on offer. Not sure about the price now but have ask her to check the latest price.

BTW, can you get some quote for cat food as well for comparison.

Just a small idea.

Instead of delivery by the pet shop, we tell the shop owner that we will self collect and give the shop some publicity.
Just imagine 10 to 15 UDM queing up at the shop when they load about 2 to 3 bags of food into the car.
In return for the publicity, the owner offer the best price. Win-win situation.

Supplier said, cat food is normally more expensive.
This price is same for own pick up or delivery.

Yes, I can confirm that cat food is more expensive. I would say that the price that Rachel got is very very good!
