OK, I am starting this thread again and also thanks to L O N G who managed to source for another website in the US carrying this product www.xpel.com, though they are also using 3M film.Quoting from the website :Our Paint Protection Products are made from 3M (tm) Paint Protection Film which is a rugged eight mil (.008") clear Urethane plastic employing a clear-coat finish for maximum shine. This durable, adhesive backed material has been tested both in the field and in the laboratory for more than ten years as well as applied at many of the major auto manufacturers in rock chip prone areas with incredible results. Never before has a product been invented that provides so much protection with such low visibility. Our products are so strong that not only are they guaranteed not to yellow, crack or peel for 5 years after installation, they are also covered by an unprecedented 5-year $1000 paint protection guarantee against damage to your vehicle's finish. (Of course the guarantee only applies in the US)Also, 3M claims it is using a non-yellowing compound.Pricewise, expect to pay USD3.5 per ft (roll of 6in 8 mil film) for materials and possibly around RM200 max for installation (not sure about this, got to find an installer first). For front bumper & 2 side mirrors, I think around 20-25 feet of film will be needed. So budget not more than RM500. Headlights can also be done though 8in 12 mil film may be needed. So who is game? If can get more people I am sure can bring down the installation costs, since I think to install on front bumper is at most a one hour job. According to the website, only simple tools are used.1.
