outside temperature sensor

Hi all, im new here and need ur guys help,i got problem with my A/C was not cold when rainy weather and also my temp meter always stick to 40F either rainy or not. Is't the 'outside temperature sensor'problem? and how much it cost if have to replace?

Do you mean always -40F? if that is the case, then either your sensor got ripped off by some side curb or the sensor totally konk. Not sure where is the location of it for E46, E39 is jus in front of the right tyre, u need to peer from downwards. if the wiring is intact, you should be able to get it from spareparts shop and change it yourself.

I wonder if we can put a resistor in place and fix the temperature. I don't use auto mode.

hi hky, problem settled.. just change the sensor and it's back to normal..thanx so much bro
