the sandblasted arms

ball-joints need to be replaced, but the offset bushes will be used back as they're relatively new.

thanks bro.. other than the arms, the crossmember and disc covers we sandblasted as well prior to painting. the crossmember was reinforced with a metal plate, after years of damage by hydraulic jacks without protective rubber.. no pun intended.

Mmmm. Nice fresh parts. :)

But curious tho, why are you going with Bilstein blacks with the H&R springs? Wouldn't the yellows be a much better match.

you're right nick. actually i got those B4 blacks for almost nothing and they were used for less than 6 months along with those springs on my previous car and i quite enjoyed the result. once worn out one day however, i'll certainly replace everything with a B12 system. this is just me being penny wise but pound stupid :D

Haha i made the same error when I refreshed my suspension, also running H&R sport springs with bilstein blacks. Now also planning to go for yellows once these wear out. :D

H&R springs ( red colour ) must go with Yellows Bilstein Sports......but u still get firm ride but not jarring...

argghh..bila la nak siap nii..impatient redi looking at all the pics, like as if my car pulak..Hang in there bro, i visualize a red beauty crusing the beachlines of penang soon..why penang, i dunno..:) oh yea, also turning heads massively..

work begins on the chassis front end..

just installed are the front crossmember, struts, control arms, ball joints, disc dust covers, anti-roll bar and wheel bearings.
