Oil Indicator

Dear Friends,These few days, I noted that my Oil indicator light pops up during driving. What I observes is that, it lighted after an hour in the driving mode, upon acceleration /pump up gas etc.Last Sat, I change both front disc and pads after which, this happens....any link....I've checked the brake oil...seems still full. Checked engine (also recently changed, before brake oil) also tip-top. :39::7:Anyone having experience it? please share

Could be just co-incidence, that it pops up after the disc and pads changed. Did you check the engine oil level, via the dipstick?

Yup, both oil checked... hmmm except power steering.......could it be that? hmmm
if I were to off the engine and restart back....it's gone........and will lighted say after an 45 mins drive

Yup...checked already.

Light out if I were to restart back......and lighted back after probably 45 mins drive.....

Oil sensor kaput, either that, or loose/damage wiring or connector..

This is M54 engine.. item 14:

Solved by replacing the sensor...RM280
