Oil in the Intake system

Good day gents..yesterday I had my mech clean the T/body and the ISCV...for myE34 / m50 . There was a pool of oil in the air hoses after the MAF, T/body..manifoldetc. IS this common..or is something wrong with my engine ?AFter servicing seems fine..Also after driving for a while...then let it idle off a/c there's a erractic idle problem..more like low rpm rather than erractic. Anyone have any advice ?Tks/CheersDom

Welcome to the erratic idling club... Been trying to eradicate the problem. Sometimes ok, sometimes not. But as long as engine don't die, I will live with it.

Yeah, true...I guessed not matter what we change or clean or service, erratic idle happens; in M50 only?

Izit something like misfiring ? if that is the case, then we are in the same ball game.

Eratic...idling..

E3six...it;s more like when one of the plugs is 'wet'...you get the bup bop buop sound from the tail pipe...have cleaned T/body and idle valve..plugs due for reaplacement..next thing would be oxy sensor...after that ..dunno yet.
