Northern Region BMWCM Membership Drive

Just wanted to make sure what i have been told is what is being done.

Can we stick to the suggestion and intention?
BMWCM official membership drive in the northern region.

Mentioning about suggestion, I have called SpyGames who stays in Perlis and he agrees to sign up as an official member. I will also talk to R37220, Capitano and Joe80. Will try to get them to sign up.

A follow up idea is to do a membership drive. Let’s discuss this on our next TT. Choose a Saturday to drive up further north. Meet up with the Sg Petani and Alor Setar guys and drive up to Perlis for “ice breaking” lunch at SpyGames restaurant. His restaurant was featured in the TV3 Jln Jln Cari Makan Slot by Maria Tunku Sabri, so I think it is a good place. Then we can go to Padang Besar for some fruit shopping or what ever the next plan is, probably like drive down to Alor Setar for Cendol or laksa or something and finally we drive back home.

The idea is to introduce the BMWCM to the community. Let the northern folks know that we are made of laid back cool guys and ladies who just love BMWs and there is an official club that glue us together, BMWCM. I believe Capitano also suggested at the E-Gate gathering to drive to Banding... play the corners. Are we up for it? He is an amatur, registered and legal racer so we can learn a thing or two from him about agressive driving.

May be by doing that we can remove the false impression or perception that I mentioned earlier about BMWCM and we have more members, where we develop more activities and share our knowledge.

just to clear the air -- i think Acidburn is just a representative window for any aliasing matter ..case if we have a drive up north, he's the rep we should look for ... and not appointed northern committee ... i believe this is what SITH see's it as...

anyway planta we do see your sheer enthusiasm here and we do sure you could keep up with the good performance as well ...

As for me correct me if i am wrong if you are not intrested being and offical member but than why are you getting involve in club matters bro.Yes XXX brought up the question but you in advance has spoken regarding this to sith. Who are you to speak to sith regarding this matter, where else this is club offical matters. Acidburn, planta,alan teh all of them are friends. So deniel relax.

Just now, Joe80 just signed up as an official member. RM300 has been wired to Rahizwan to be passed to XXX. Joe80 will fill up his forms and faxed to Fabian on Monday. I have also called Fabian to update him.

I have passed my new member starter pack that I got last week to Joe80. Next one sent over for him will be used to replace my own starter pack.

Oh dear oh dear. I do believe you have to gather all your info together before going further.

To make it clear. I was the one that was approached to locate a Northern Rep. I didn't ask for that responsibility.

As mentioned, i am not an official member. Hell, i do not even drive a BMW! It was because of personal invitations to attend TTs that i am involved in the Northern Region BMWCM. Even QD250 has mentioned that even official members in KL are excluded in the workings of the club. So what difference does it make if i am an official member or not?

I can forsee that even with rational response to your accusations, I will be deemed hostile. Maybe perhaps i should add in those emoticons and the standard 'heee heee' so that it would be acceptable?

SpyGames have contacted Fabian, wired the money and will fax the forms tomorrow. So another new member.

Have talked to R37220 and he is interested too. We could not talk long coz we met a social function. Will meet again this week to talk about this.
