My 2 cents.

For safety sake, I think it wont be good driving up to Genting at night with the heavy fog. It will be treacherous.

If really wanna have a drive, do it in the morning. Ulu Yam or Kuala Klawang route is great

I agree with Big AL. NIght time after drinks, i better not drive up the hill. But morning after a few, its ok

E90 guys drove up to Awana using the Ulu Yam road 4 months back. Very nice. Very scenic. About 45 mins drive from Selayang (backroad) to Awana.

Also, there is a water fall along the way for those who want to stop and chillex.

My 910 cents worth.
