Hi guys, im driving E92 335i, need advise on where to change and pricing on,

1. electric water pump ( mechanic advise me to change the spare tank and thermostat together if im changing this electric water pump).
he quoted about 3.1k.

2. HPFP.

anybody have experience changing these parts?
any good workshop to recommend?

THANK YOU!

For water pumps, pay a visit to Naidu or Stuttgart in PJ. They did mine for RM1,300.

Just the thermostat, not the tank. If the tank still works, no need to change.

electric water pump @ bomin at approx. rm1k, do call them for exact price + installation.

ok thx bro fadhlan.

bro danze90, i dunno where is bomin. and u got there contact number?

and anyone knows about HPFP? or know whoever hav changed theirs before?

I thought water pump and thermostat better to change together since they are opening the same parts. Save some labour cost on the change of thermostat in future

Yah u're right etquah. but then im thinkin whether or not wanna let the fan run full blast 24/7 for better cooling. Cos the mechanic said some of the moded 335i owner do tis on purpose for better cooling.

not recommended to run the fan full blast as it shorten the lifespan of your fan.

There are many BMW parts store that keeps stock on water pumps like Stuttgart, Bavarian Auto, Bomin, Innerpower, etc. Call a few and get quotes, buy the ones that offers the best price. Change together with thermostat. Tank if still OK, no need to change.

HPFP need to cari a bit.

My mechanic advised to change the electric water pump at 100,000km. Certainly you do not want to wait till it fails only change as the consequential damage of an overheated engine can be severe
