New E39 Owner

Hi, I'm been a closet member for quite sometime (since 2006) but finally coming out in the open.I took the plundge and found a E39 that fit my budget and heart early last month.It is a '97 car and I am very lucky to be a second owner and the previous owner did take care of it pretty well.It still amazes me the lil' technology I find here and there which I found really "advance" when I drove my previous car which was new in 2010. : )Loving it.... hope to learn more about my red bella from here ....cheers!

Hey BlackBeast... ur is a real undercover sleeper la. very immaculate looking ride. One of the nicest 10 year old car I've seen around... I'm sure you can do it la if you want... put some super bright 10w bulbs for your angel eye, some 6000k HID for fogs and u are set. A pair of 20s satin black rim would turn alot of heads too. Darth Vader / "Murdered"

I thought it would be bumpy la, heavy la, makan minyak la.. but surprisingly, it is not. Very surprising to me... and this from a person who used to run around on 17" myvis. So big rims is not that foreign to me but I was trully surprised. Lucky I didnt stop at 19.. haha

BTW, the rims are up for sale. Just found another rarer set than this one. Less than 4 weeks old and I accidently poisoned myself looking at another rims... self inflicted this time... lol

This is how i got my "motivation" from my frens... and they say sharing is caring....

Every day save RM10 dollars. If you've been eating regularly expensive lunch/dinner, makan nasi campur / chap fan / RM5.95 McD. Kurang mamak outing and if go, just minum teh o + bring your own bottle water. IF you smoke, another reason to cut down/stop. If always borak long time on hand phone, play miss call, or use BBM or WhatsApp HAHAHA. By the end of the month, you don't need to the right approval de... the finance minister wont notice the difference in the monthly P&L account. Every month can escape with mod 1 small item.. hahaha Next month... hid my fogs.. jom la we can do together gather... *grin*

The better part of this community is sharing, but the best is 'poisoning'....kekeke...my mods are just cheapskate i must say..a gomen servant like me cant afford that much...syukurlah with i have done so far...but i just cant stop thinking of the next move...slow2 je bro...with yr HM approval, am pretty sure yours will look more ganaz than the rest....

Aiyor... interior is soo stock standard beige colour. It is so '97.. it even came with a 5 cassette/tape storage slot option instead of the normal storage box with the slider cover (http://www.vmotors.com/ebay/parts/51168159698.jpg). I kid you not! I can't even find a picture on google to explain how it looks. it looks like this (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4111/5028608665_9ab7a116ae.jpg) but in that slot near your handbrake.

Even my mechanic said he hasn't seen this since the turn of the millennium! Lucky I found some spare parts in my boot and one of it was the storage box (minus the cover). First interior mod... replace that asap. this was one out of necessity. Cannot tahan kena tease from my mechanic. Now he only makes fun of my VR4 lights. hehe

I am waiting for sifu KC to be free. Wanna learn how to detail the interior together from him. *bow down*

Slow and easy is my way too. I also doing this very very slow. I have been admiring e39 since 2005~2006 but couldn't afford (check out my Join Date . Finally last year I can.... then took me spoo long to find the one that is within my low budget and good condition. Like some say, "good thing no cheap, cheap thing no good"

Only early this year I found one. Very affordable and very good condition based on the price. So I save on car price but able to use the extras for the mods. In the end, also lari budget... and every night I wonder b4 i sleep if I am going to learn the "real" reason why it was so cheap. *fingers and toes crossed not!* hahaha

Thank you very much, Sir. It would even be better if he actually has a facelift headlight for me to swap + top up.. hahahah actually it's the light not too bad, but on a red body, it looks like this lar... dont you think..

wow your e39 looks very garang. those body color, big black wheels, flippable side mirrors, m5 kits really match to each other. not much to do on the exterior. thumbs up for a beautiful piece of e39.
