I think most E39's would have led pretty leisurely lives as company cars in KL.
Mine certainly did.
It was a company car which the MD bought when he retired and then sold it on to me.
Ferry boss to & from work, that's about all it did - LOL
And most original owners of E39's were in their late 30's/early 40's, so they're far less likely to abuse their cars....I think
I reckon how the previous owner maintained the car is far more important than where the car came from
