Same here then hehehe. Although I keep a very small window open in the corner of my screen hahaha

Haha, you only use your mobile when you're away from work? I hardly use my phone to surf BMWCM since it's not optimised for web browsing. :p

I use a 27" mac at work, so a small window in the corner is unnoticeable. My phone is not too bad too, its got 4.3" screen so ample to view the threads, better than iPhone, but sometimes need see on computer screen to get better view when somebody uploaded pictures etc.

Wow, that's one heckuva huge screen.

Yours is HD2 right? Mine only Desire.

Anyways, sorry for going outta topic. Hahaha.

Smilindevil, please post more shots of your new ride! :top:

The difference is in the bottom bit. The low obc would show a picture of a car with open doors to show that the door is open. The high obc would show "DOOR OPEN" in text. High obc is more capable of showing errors in the car. Radia station etc will also show on there.
Clarified finally thanks for this bit. Used to wonder abt this too.

thanks Iylia H..... i was wondering about that different dashes too....

Hey bro smilindevil. My E39's with the M54 doesn't have the car icon to show which doors are open - BMW replaced this with text warnings instead on a central LCD display between the speedo/tacho meters for the run-out 2003 E39's.
Also, the service interval indicator for my post-facelift E39's is on the left of the instrument panel. Pre-facelift cars I've seen have it on the right like yours.

As for the picture bro haywire posted, it appears to be an E46 instrument cluster....;)

Hope this helps....
