need fuel consumption advice !!!!

very kesian to hear ur story.. mine is same model 2003 = 87k.. I tested mine with my mecahnic b4 bought the car.. so far minor problem only and claim warranty (1 month)

any advice for me? me so down now!!!!!

Never mind bro, these are lessons we sometimes have to learn and unfortunately some of these lessons may be more expensive than others. IMHO you have already bought the car and spent a huge amount on repairs and can't do anything about it now. It appears that you were dealt a double whammy - on your purchase and on your repairs. Where do you live? If its not too far away and if you wish, you could send your car to Ah Chin in USJ. He does not have a big set-up unlike many others who do Bimmers, but I find him to be knowledgable and very honest. In fact, he has solved many of my problems with my ride that AB could not. As far as I know, he will not change any part unless absolutely necessary.
If you are interested, I can pm you his details. Let him check your ride thoroughly and get his advice and then decide what you want to do. I can also call him and let him know you are coming. Is your name Joe? Cheers

i'm eric here and i'm from Penang, thanks a lot for ur suggestion as well bro. since i hv spent a huge deal for the repair but not solve my problem, the workshop invite me to send back my car for the warranty. thats oso the only way for me now, once again, thanks a lot for your suggestion! if it is still kenot solve my troubles until the end, i may consider to travel to USJ and looking for Ah Chin later. besides, may i hv ur contact no orelse somtimes we may chit chat by fon?

Hi Eric, have u solved the Makan Minyak issue? care to share with us? Seems like really difficult to troubleshoot this problem. I did change almost all the water hose and gaskets to solve the leaking problem earlier. At first, the FC improves abit. Then now, back to the High FC condition. Headache alredi.
