One of BMW forummer here introduce thing amazing app to scan, diagnose and coding function. It is Ivini app and available for android and apple. The app can be connected through original cable or by using OBDII adapter. I am using my OBDII adapter to connect the app to my car.

The app is quite expensive in playstore (RM200) or apple store but for android phone, you can download for free from link below  :

Diagnosing. only 15/43 ecu response:

Result after diagnose.

I am getting original cable since the OBDII bluetooth adapter function is limited.

That is full version. After checked the ivini website, the compatible device for my car is the bluetooth adapter. the device is different depending on car model. so far no plan for group buy. Hehe.

Recently, i installed rear carbon fiber spoiler at RacingFit, Sunway. Basically, there are two options for carbon fiber spoiler which are M3 style and M performance style. I chose M3 style somehow because it is smaller than M performance.

The price is RM550 including installation.

Recently, i purchased two items from a friend.
1. Racechip S - Increase power
2. Pedalbox - Throttle booster and avoid lag.

At first, I installed racechip and it is connected at fuel commonrail. First impression, it is really improve my pick up and can feel more power. Highway drive also good but fuel consumption slightly higher.

Then, i removed the racechip and installed pedalbox. there are many different map to choose such as eco, sport and sport plus. i can say this device is very good to improve throttle lag and feeling like sport car. After several testing, i settled with eco mode with lowest setting to balance between fuel efficiency and power feeling.

Now only use pedalbox and keep racechip in my boot. :smokin:

Racechip:

Pedal box installation. Quite hard to remove the socket:

My latest mod is replacing shock absorber to Bilstein B8 and i purchased it 2nd hand from my friend. Not that bad because the absorber is quite new compared to my 5 years old original absorber. The operation was done at exhaust workshop but they really know what they are doing and completed about 3 hours.

Yes after test drive the car, my handling, feeling, cornering is much more improved although i feel less comfy than stock.

Rear absorber:

front. See the different in shaft size. different design i think.

Why not used Racechip together with Pedalbox?

Bro,

Thanks for the tips on iVINi Android apps. I managed to get it work on my wife's E87 using bluetooth connection. Some how does not work on my E39. I believe it require the cable version. By the way, do you know whether it support indent information and actual mileage check? If yes, which option?

Yes, i believe some older models require cable connection. It can be checked further in their website.

I am not sure about actual mileague check. maybe can check further.

Just small mod update done recently. i replaced the stock exhaust tip to Remus twin tips. look nice for my eyes la.

I installed the tip at Atmosphere Motorsport, Sunway for RM500.
