Dear UDM member's,

Need your opinion / advise guys.

I'm driving an E46 318i (2.0) Year 2004 LifeStyle.

I was on my way to KL last Friday and while started to increase speed from 100 to 120 and then to 140km/h, felt some vibration started on the floorboard and tyres and then tried to hit the breaks and it still vibrates. It lasts for about 5-10mins and then goes off.

There were no such case / no vibration while doing 170km/h.

Again it happened, the same way while I was coming back to JB on Sunday.

Just got all the 4 discs breaks and pads changed in April and all four tyres just changed in Q4 last year.

Any idea what could be wrong or anyone had faced similar situation? :102:

Nothing to worry about bro, 3 possible reasons

1. Wheels balancing - Need a professional
2. Cheap replica rims or bad tires
3. Longshaft coupling and bearing

Bro anaksarawak,

thanks much for your input.

1. Wheels balancing - Need a professional - did wheels alignment last week, but did not do wheels balancing. will check it out on this one.
2. Cheap replica rims or bad tires - Using Toyo Proxes C1S with 17" rims.
3. Longshaft coupling and bearing - wow.... this one I need to check lorr... :)

Guys,

Now, having another issue I guess. the breaks feels spunggy now. feel like it's going in too deep when hit the break pedals compared to the normal limit.. ooo oooooo..... :102:

Bro, take your car to a proper specialist have everything check out. Care for your safety ya.

Your brake servo/ vacuum pump maybe faulty or ABS system kaput

bro anaksarawak,

that's what I taught too. gonna take it back to my mechanic and check out with him.... thank you bro. :) :67:
