E46 2004 - Gearbox Delaying !!

I better leave this question to the sifus here...

But I would reckon once u slot which ever key in yr ingnition, information will be pass on to the key (which ever u chose to use). That's just my assumption...

for bro keane,

my mechanic can repair gearbox. but he says e46 gearbox parts are hard to come by. according to him, your problem could be a faulty torque converter switch at the gearbox itself. this shouldn't cost much.

he is located at optimum auto at kg kayu ara, near nkve dsara toll and centre point, pj. do pm me for directions if you are keen.

your car no need to warm up gearbox one!..not formula 1 car la..
something is wrong with it so go check it out...changing ATF also no need,but if you do, put back ori BMW one better. good luck, prolly just a small sensor need to be replaced
