Guyz,Dear all, need your expert opinion. I'm driving a 318i 2002 (facelift) model.Recently, I had a bad engine vibration during idle. I sent to AB. They found out that my Ignition coil failed. They changed all. It was good the first 2 days :yahoo: . Then, small-small things started to come. I had misfire now and then. Then i had my engine stalled when I put my gear in Reverse  . I send back to AB. They checked and found no fault code. They want to change my fuel pump. Any other possible coz? :( Appreciate your expert input guyz...

chk the crank sensor and idling valve..... get outside workshop to chk as well

IMHO,

weak Fuel pump will either let you dies off after long cranking/ just started. your case can just be the clog fuel filter. don't simply waste ur money getting the fuel pump. quite expensive if dual chamber fuel tank which consist of (fuel pump, sensor) & (sensor mounting plate for the other side)

how bad is your stalling ?? do you feel the car vibrating too ?
it could be your engine mounting ?

if u said when u engage gear, i would like to know how about your Idling RPM on R, D, 4, 3, 2 or 1 mode ?
