hole.jpg

rearplate.jpg
Another basket for those fella who "drilled" me.. :thumpdown:Lucky I discover this early, I have secured the lobangs with double side tape minimizing chances of moisture from rain or car wash to reach them and cause "cancer" a.k.a. rust... HOW CAN THEY DO THIS TO OUR QUARTER MILLION RINGGIT CAR !! basket!

Over my dead body man!!! I would never do that to any of my car... and this is quarter million Ringgit car somemore!!!

The SC guy did that when installing the OEM SC plate.. the Club plate of course I install myself la... easy DIY job, yet took me more than an hour man.. :D

When removing the OEM plate to make way for my Club plate, only I realise I got "screwed" :(

does this mean our sc installed plates are all made this way???

i better check mine...

Holy shit....astro, your ride seems to have new discoveries every week...

I better check mine as well....

take more pic of the holes & go taruk AB Sg Besi kau kau...

Astroboy, looks your car was used at one of the Goldsmith robbery.. that size looks like a bullet hole...

just joking... but why such a crude way of installing the number plate..

For my SC, I think the same guy is contracted to do the job and every time he drop by to install number plates, its about 15 cars and he come alone. If not mistaken, he do it for MINIs too.

Imagine 15 cars x 2 (front and back), the poor guy has to put up 30 plates, ALONE! I in fact had a chat with him on the day I collect my car, I didn't notice how the rear plate was installed though.. basket!

Complaint? damaged is already done to my car la and in fact its a 8 months old car by now... 2 more new lobang discovered is nothing new la.. :( .. and I know I'm not alone... so for those who are more energetic or motivated to complain, you take the lead.. I really don't know what to expect as a result for the claim... u all think I can get a 50% discount off the price tag?

I have seen worst especially those who install huge 10" subs on the rear dash, the installer cut out a big chunk of metal on the rear dash to make way for the subs without telling the owner.. that will weaken the rear construction of the car, my 2 lobang is really a blessing in disguise..

aiks:eek:........ astroboy, i have the same hole on my car, front bumper also have 4 unwanted holes. Same SC & i think is the same guy, installing our number plate at Auto Bavaria, Sg.Besi.

Want to complaint? How u want the SC to compensate u? I just want a free advance driving session, and must be conducted by our bro! How's that sound? :D

The holes are AB's way of introducing performance enhancement to the cars they sell. Due to its additional weight savings as a result of these 2 holes, their cars are slightly faster than those sold by IA and SA. Absolutely brilliant if you ask me.

astroboy,i really don't understand why they drill two hole for the number plate?every car already come with two factory drill number plate hole, just screw the num plate frame & put up the num plate.you should try complain to a.b,maybe they will change a new car boot for you.even my company is a toyota dealer we also make sure we would not do that kind of stupid job.remember you are paying $ to buy a car you deserve some customer service.but you notice that after so many month for sure they will give a lot of excuse.

Hiya! Sexy! Thanks for the advice... I think I know exactly what to do... a little stirring is always a healthy thing to do.. :D

Anybody want to join me for the stir beramai-ramai?

psst.. this weekend long hooooooooolliiiiiiidddaaaaayyyyyy...:top:

No..no..no.. mummy..

Pen nowaday is mightier than mass gathering :D ... we'll go the civilized way, in black and white..

.. and the problem with the headlight socket is all the CBUs at Ingress oso don't have this cover, so its not difficult for them to deny our claim.. since BMW Voice has told me its claimable, I am waiting for their email to confirm the conversation.

U go the AB Sg Besi on Friday, all they need to do is to show u all their showroom unit and CBU unit oso don't have the cover, so what u want them to do? And the lobang... they can say you did it outside and the accessory shop people did it, what you can do?

Astro,

Me too missing the headlight socket, I get the car from Tian Siang and today went to service and highlight this problem. That true that all the show room unit 320i & 320i sport without it except the M3 have it. They told that standard without it. Believe only BMW email can make this claim. Please informed us when you receipt the email from BMW.
