Multi function Steering

Sifus,Can i change my normal Steering to multi function on E46 2001. If yes how much it will Cost $$$Cheers

yes my fren, u cld, only thang u cant do is to retrofit into other models. as long as its within e46, then it shld b alrite generally. as a matter of fact im usin the M3 steerin wheel now paired wiv M3 meter cluster, NICE!

fyi, yer 318i non-FL had an optional multi function steerin but i suppose u didnt opt fer it, or if u bought it 2nd hand, the previous owner didnt opt fer it, simple as dat. well, actually most of us who buoght it new bck then overlooked dis as well, incl yers truly

if i were u, just go get those used one abundant in singapore forum k. last i checked their forum last nite, somebody wuz sellin it CHEAP! go dude, buy! buy! buy!

what if i got the 3spoke steering, can i transfer/use the airbag onto the m-steering wheel?

btw, looking for 330/m3 cluster.. dude kahar, does the speed/rpm 'adjust/adapt' by itself? cos stock one, max is 240kmh and 330 is at 300kmh.. or does your speedo shows you're travelling 280kmh now? :nyehehe:

k, how do i go bout wiv yer Qs in words eh, ermss... like dis ...

1) normal non-multifunction
2) sport 3-spoke multifunction
3) ///M multifunction

soo & adliz : airbags fer 2 and 3 r interchangrable whereas 1 is on its own by itself, u cant use the airbag fr 1 to swap into 2 or 3.

soo : i know where u copy n pasted dat fr ... don get confused by his advertisement, i almost did last time, heh... meanin total cost to get dat steerin wiv airbag is 2,600 + 3,300 = whoppin 5,900.00!!!

adliz : yep, they r adjusted accordingly no worries. which is one of the reason havin 2 sensors at the wheel computin the variables n handin over dat infos to all the system in dat car dat requires em, its preety computerised i wld say. changin to ///M meter cluster is preety much like plug n play thangy really

go fer ///M steerin dude ... u may wanna try stuttgart (but pls go thru jimson, cos it wld b costly if u dunno anyone there), or alternatively as i mentioned earlier b on a lookout in sgpore forum ... im preety sure yknew dis rite adliz

there r basically 2 vers, US n Europe, the former has to b reset upon fitting cos mileage will b in miles, temperature in Fahrenheight
