steering wheel clarification needed

Hi, my ride is 523i 1997, i plan to change m sport steering wheel, my current steering dun hav multi function button, if i wanna change to m sport steering with multu function button, will the button works?

First of all, your ride uses a single stage airbag system, and it will only accept a single stage steering.

There is a version of the older M Sport steering with bigger round airbag that could fit your car if you could find one.

Single stage steering have the slip ring on the steering itself, dual stage steering have the slip ring on the steering column.

The multifunction, its a bit hit and miss. Some car have it ready, just plug it in and it will work. Some car you would have to add some wires to make it work.

Thanks haywire, ya i like the big round m sport steering, can recommend any places that they can convert my current steering to m sport steering wheel with multi function button, dunno y some cars of 523i equipped with multi function button but mine don't have.

You have to find the steering and airbag first, then you can install it in Vixx Customs behind Giant Batu Caves.
