A true sign to BMW Motorsport that they should have participated in DTM. The car is built on a E46 WTCC Chassis with a M5 V8 engine bolted in. So a tad different from a factory M3GTR which has a strangely short and wide body. BTW: This team was also looking at building a M6 GTR, alas not possible, BMW pulled the plug. The car could never be safe as a GTR due to the usage of alluminium etc. Too bad.
