M3 brakes to replace stock E36 brakes?

hello fellow bimmerheads,i've finally gotten my hands on a complete set of M3 brakes! hahh.. anyone has fitted these to replace stock E36 brakes? (mines a humble 318i)whats required pls? i roughly know the control arms need to go, but do i need a completely differnt hub assembly etc?thanx..cant wait for them to arrive next week..cheers!

well..yeah...on hind sight, my humble 318i no need the big ones lah...but for the damned good price i got the whole set...i suppose i can shoe horn them in, in anticipation of bigger thigs to come.....

(so..who's got a spare M engine lying around???..hahha..

Common misconception, bro.

Even 318 can reach 195-200 kph. It's not how quickly you reach this speed - sure the 6-potters are quicker. It's more important how quickly you can retard that speed safely.

agreed. bigger is always better i guess.... since i already got the parts.... seems that the wheels need to be at least 17" for the calipers to fit..

will do a little more research before embarking on the swap...
